Cable in the Classroom (CIC) is the cable industry's non-profit education foundation. Cable companies provide at no cost cable and/or high-speed internet access to schools and libraries.

- I homeschool my children. What tools & resources are available to me through CIC?
While home schools are not eligible for free cable service, you as a home school parent and educator can certainly take advantage of CIC's tools & resources, including all of CIC's television and online resources.
- What is CIC cable programming?
Cable networks, such as Discovery and The History Channel, air educational programs that are commercial-free and copyright cleared for a year or more.
- Do you have newsletters?
CIC has two new newsletters: Resource Alerts are biweekly notifications of upcoming programs and resources in the subjects you choose; and CIC E-Newsletter is a monthly e-mail that connects you to the latest editorial content from Access Learning and Threshold.
